In an exciting first, the beloved ARIA Hall of Famer and legendary Aussie performer Phil Burton, will be performing a series of intimate solo shows in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong in February 2023.
We know and love him from our home-grown iconic Aussie vocal group,Human Nature, and now it’s time for Phil to bring his killer band to the stage and debut his solo show, SONGS THAT SHAPED MY SOUL.
SONGS THAT SHAPED MY SOUL will be a fresh insightinto the music that forged the life and career of one of Australia’s most loved entertainers. The audience will come along with Phil in his own personalmusical journey, being serenaded to songs such as ‘Soul Man’, ‘Hard To Handle’, ‘I Heard It ThroughThe Grapevine’ and ‘(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay’,as well as contemporary soul tunes and, of course,a few classic takes on Human Nature originals and greatest hits. It will be a night to remember!

Phil Burton has been an integral part of the Australian music scene for almost 30 years, with his powerhouse vocals earning the praise of audiences and music lovers all over the world. Starting his singing career as a school boy and developing his taste and vocal range fromhours spent singingalong to hits on the radio and exploring dad’s vinyl collection, his career would see him climb to the very top of the Australian charts as a member of Human Nature. He has worked alongside musical legends such as John Farnham & Smokey Robinson, recording and performing some of the most iconic songs ever written with an illustrious career spanning decades, genres, and continents.
